Celebrating Educators with Gerry Brooks!
Less than a week before the start of school and I was nearly scratching off another country from my world map. I was offered a guidance/teaching position in Malta. I was THIS CLOSE to signing, and FSW came through at the eleventh hour with a full time professor position. I got a snazzy office along with a pay raise :) I am teaching five classes this semester, and it leaves Willis exhausted Monday thru Thursday. Thank goodness I always have a three day weekend, or the boy might seriously revolt! I will be adding an additional graduate certification, too. I start classes in January at University of South Florida in Clinical Aging Studies. It will compliment the Development Psychology course that I teach, as well as provide me with the opportunity to doing mental status exams and assessing for dementia and other cognitive disorders in the elderly.
